Move day can feel overwhelming, but Make It Home helps keep everything organized, supported, and on track from the current residence to the new home.

Move Day Oversight

On move day, we meet the moving company at your current residence and oversee the move-out, ensuring everything that is supposed to move goes on the truck. We then meet the movers at your new residence to ensure furniture is placed according to the floor plan and all boxes are brought in and placed in the appropriate rooms.

Unpacking

As with packing, we unpack with consideration by replicating how things were organized and displayed in the previous home. Lampshades are reunited with the appropriate lamps, and contents of drawers are returned exactly as they were previously. Once complete, we remove all packing materials.

Settling In

We recreate your new home by not only unpacking and thoughtfully organizing your carefully curated belongings, but also hanging artwork and adding the special touches that make the new space feel like home.
